Condolence message Saint Petersburg metro attack

It is with great sadness that I was informed about the horrible news of the explosions that took place in Sint Petersburg metro station last Monday 3rd April 2017. After the horrifying terroristic attacks in Westminster two weeks ago, another European city was targeted.  Sadly, 14 people were killed and about 45 people injured in the incident some of which are still fighting for their lifes. My heart goes out to the numerous victims, their families and their relatives, to all the people from Sint Petersburg and the Leningrad Oblast to who I present my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences.  We must stay united and firm, now and in the future and will never allow these barbarian acts to affect our common democratic norms and values.
